No morning!

Dream mile in the afternoon!! I was feeling decent going into this, wasn't crazy looking forward to it but wasn't dreading it. It was way cold and windy so that made me wish it was a different day. We warmed up 2. We ran the track backwards so the wind wouldn't be as bad (coach is a wind expert) and we started at the 100 so it'd be the same but we turned right instead of left. We started out as a pack and everything. I was feeling pretty good, as good as I've felt all season. As we were finishing our second lap holt said "Alli you've got to focus are you focused?" And that totally got me in the right mindset, I thought I was focused before but that seriously just clicked and as Ellie passed me I went and got with her. If I'm completely honest with myself I haven't had actual fun in a race all season, racing just wasn't fun anymore, but this race was fun. I actually enjoyed pushing myself during the race. I know I've got my drive back, and I have never been more excited for a race as I am for Nike. I ended 6th on the team instead of my 7-8th spot that I've been maintaining all season. I know I'm ready to push myself to the absolute limit and help my team qualify for nationals. Oh man I just can't wait.
