A shorter long run of 55 minutes. My legs were really tight but it was still a fun run. We kept the golf ball the whole time!!! After I went to harts and got an icee cuz I'm taking advantage of this driving on my own thing.

AM- 30 easy on the softball field cuz the baseball field was being used. Jakey got 2nd in his race and was extremely proud so we went to bishops to celebrate.

PM- 30 easy to artic circle and weights, so lightheaded cuz I didn't drink any water today

Time trial 1. I think we were just focusing on pushing hard as a pack and no matter what I told everyone, I was completely nervous as I've ever been. I forgot I was supposed to lead with meskerem the second mile not the first so I took it out fast with Josie and Jacey. By the time the second mile came along meskerem started pushing it and the pack started to spread and I couldn't hang on. I ended 6th (without rylee there so probably 7th) with a 13:08. I've always known there was gonna be big competition this year for varsity. But it's never seemed so real to me. I really need to step it up and work my hardest always. We finished up with some hill repeats and striders which were both good.

PM- easy 30 with josie through neon spider. It was actually completely terrifying without the rest of the team. But it was good to just run with jos. Also I'm very excited for the team party tonight it's gonna be delicious pizza

AM- 45 minutes on the turtle trail. Fun run and I felt like we were pushing ourselves good up the hill. The top 10ish from girls and boys are  going to Brian head this weekend and I'm real excited. Shoutout to me for winning a some free spikes at the running center party last night. Another shoutout to me cause my monthly views thing actually shows a number now. And shoutout to preston cause we're going on a date tonight.

PM- 30 easy to artic circle. Good run-o

AM- easy 40 around temple quarry. There was some scary lightning like right next to us. And it rained really hard so we stood in it for a long time. Also RYLEE IS BACK YAY. Currently trying to convince her to get a blog. Now we're going up to Brian head which will be fun the end.

PM- went to Navajo lake and ran then jumped in. It was freezing but I got my hair wet because the boys were being dumb. Also we went to mammoth caves and wrote our family on the back of coach's car. I was married to paul. He was a decent husband

The literal best run of my life. We had 65 minutes plus 18 tempo and we drove to this huge hill so we did the tempo down the hill haha. We were planning on turning around at 37:30 to account for the tempo and the hill but we got to the summit at 30 minutes so we just tempoed down it and ran on the road for 15 minutes. Me, Josie, Jacey, Ellie and Sylvia were the only ones who made it to the top but it was super pretty and very very windy. On the way up the hill I figured out how to turn my brain off and it helped so much. We packed so good and I just get more and more excited for the season with every run. First race Tuesday!!!!!!
